daydreams

An ode to my musical muses, each piece is influenced by a song that I needed to articulate visually the emotions it brought me. Growing up I was surrounded by music, I played several instruments, I watched my dad play in a band, I learned about various artists and the stories around them. Album covers became an instant draw to me, remembering more the cover and the feelings than the actual words and names of each song and artist. This study allowed me to understand what colors and shapes brought out emotions that I was trying to connect with as I listened to specific songs.
