ode to my saturday mornings

The purpose of this study is to connect the dots between the Masters of Old and the contemporary styles of artistry that I experienced as a youth. Analyzing how art went from the Van Goghs, Henri Matisse's, and Kandinsky's, to the world as I saw it growing up. Taking the Saturday Morning Cartoons, toys, cereal boxes and other nostalgic items and things potentially forgotten, I reimagine them into moments of reflection.
